AHAD NEWS ■ As a form of concern for fostered citizens in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Bintara Pembina Desa (Babinsa) Kp. Mawoko Jaya, Koramil 1710-02 / Timika (Serda Rusdin Wali) together with the Covid-19 Volunteer Team, directly via "door to door" to distribute groceries to residents who needed the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, located in Kp. Mawoko Jaya, Wania District, Kab. Mimika, Papua, Sunday (05/10/2020).
Serda Rusdin Wali said that the distribution of the nine basic necessities was carried out as a form of concern for herself and the volunteers for the people in her region over the corona virus outbreak that was increasingly spreading in Kab. Mimika.
"Based on the sense of humanity towards the collapse of the Covid 19 pandemic, in the current situation of silence at home, we and the volunteers set aside a portion of our fortune to provide food packages for our citizens who need especially widows who are less able," he said.
Babinsa Kp. Mawoko Jaya also added, although not much, but he felt called to always be present in the midst of the community in any condition, as a form of sharing in feeling what was experienced by its citizens.
He also explained how to distance themselves from long-distance groupings by following the direction of the Government to break the chain of spreading the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Hopefully we are all always given health, blessing, safety and happiness as well as good and successful fortune, hopefully Covid-19 will soon pass so that we can carry on our normal activities again," he concluded, (A2M)
